Getting Started with Ozempic® Therapy
The process of starting Ozempic® weight loss treatment includes:
1. Medical Evaluation - We'll review your health history, medications, lifestyle factors, and weight loss readiness. We'll order blood work to check hormone, nutrition and metabolic status.
2. Consultation - We'll discuss your health evaluation, see if prescription Ozempic® is a good fit, review possible side effects, set goals and explain our medically supervised program.
3. Informed Consent - You'll sign paperwork confirming you understand the benefits, risks and alternatives to treatment before starting.
4. Weekly Injections - Most patients learn to self-inject Ozempic® under the skin once per week. We'll demonstrate proper technique.
5. Follow-Up & Monitoring - You'll meet regularly with your care team to review progress, address issues, ensure safety and make any necessary medication adjustments.
